Presumtive Dem Nominee Losses in SD

Hillary just won South Dakota.

Mind you, one of Obama's biggest power broker is South Dakota's former Senator.

"August and No Earlier" UPDATED Twice

UPDATE:

We can manage this like a real campaign by coordinating our work. Email me at augustandnoearlir@gmail.com

UPDATE 2:

Does anyone have a list of SD's that endorsed Obama and belong to a district that voted for Hillary? Been trying to find one online but been unsuccessful so far.

There is a news story out of Politico detailing moves by Clinton fundraisers to urge her to stay and fight up to the convention. Just like them, I urge the Senator to fight for this nomination. She is the popular vote winner, she has better positions on key issues, and she can beat McCain. Obama on the other hand has the delegate lead (just like Bush had the electoral college in 2000), weak positions on issues, and has constantly underperformed Hillary against McCain.

This diary is a call for Hillary supporters who share my view. Let's not allow this nomination to be stolen from us just like Bush stole the presidency in 2000. Let's not give Republicans a miserably weak candidate to trump in November. Let's fight for the best nominee we can have and the best president we should have.

How might we do this? Well we can do the following (or if you are already doing it, just ramp it up several notches):

Greed in the NEW democratic party

CNN reporter on site in DC just said that in his entire time covering politics he has never seen such anger. He added that Obama supporters were shocked at the anger that they saw. He was referring to the protests by Hillary supporters at the DRC meeting.

This is the biggest sign of what is to come this November if Obama is the nominee. We will see a disunited democratic party that is destined to lose. Hillary democrats are very angry and no amount of plea from Hillary will change their mind to vote for Obama. That is certainly the case for me. Many others will even go the extra mile and vote for McCain.

This could have been avoided easily but typical Obama wanted it all.

All throughout this week Obama has claimed that the nomination is his. If that is the case, why not allow full seating of the MI & FL delegation? More importantly, why resort to such sleazy tactics as stealing 4 delegates from Hillary in Michigan? If he was really secure in his belief that he is the nominee, why resort to these things? If he really has enough SD's the delegates from MI & FL would not have mattered.

He should have been magnanimous enough allowing full seating of both MI & FL delegations. Then, had that happened, Obama could have  come out of it looking like a leader and problem solver. Unfortunately he did not follow this path. He went for the greedy path.

Gavin Newsom 2012!

Gavin Newsom should challenge John McCain in 2012.

If Barack is qualified to become President according to some, then Gavin should be as well. In fact, he is more than qualified than Obama.

First of all, Gavin has at least been in an executive position unlike Barack (and to be fair neither has Hillary).

Second, Gavin can tutor Barack Obama on lessons of real leadership and courage. This guy stood up for marriage equality when it was unpopular. And Obama? Well, he refused to be photographed with Gavin because of Gavin's association with the issue.

Just some of the reasons...what do you think?

Just Donated to Hillary! (Again)

and I am a student! a poor undergrad at that!

so you have no excuse not to donate.

she needs it now, more than ever.

she can only do it, if we help her.

so please go to her website and give some money! :-)

thanks a lot!

BREAKING: Over 2.5 Million since she won PA! (UPDATED)

Thank you so much to all of you who contributed!

According to TM, Hillary has raised over 1 million so far since she was declared winner in PA.

This is her best fund raising night so far, even better than the 9+ million raised days after Super Tuesday.

Lets keep the $$$ going! On to Denver!

See link:

On another note, it is striking to me how quickly Obama's campaign turned negative. Apparently, they are now distributing NY Times "hit piece" editorial for tomorrow.

So much for politics of hope.

BREAKING!!! Hillary raises over 10 million with 100,000 donors...UPDATED 4X

Fresh off the presses guys:

http://thepage.time.com/2008/02/08/clint on-camp-weve-raised-8-mil-since-super-tu esday/

Per The Page, Hillary has raised 8 million so far since Super Tuesday.

For those of you who needs further proof that Hillary is the new movement candidate, this should seal the deal!

UPDATE 1:

The campaign has a new goal of raising 10 million!

http://www.hillaryclinton.com/

Lets keep the contributions going guys. If we do this, we will not only show Hilary that we have her back, but we will also show the kids over at DailyObama that their irrational hatred for every thing Hillary has backfired.

UPDATE 2:

The exact figure is 8.4 million since Super Tuesday with 75,000 new donors. They have raised 10 million since Feb 1.

More from Ben:

More Clinton cash

The Clinton campaign raised over $8.4 million online from 75,000 new donors since Super Tuesday, communications director Howard Wolfson said on a press conference call. Since February 1, the campaign has raised $10 million.

“We have closed that gap,” said Wolfson, who argued people were giving now because they know “the money is needed.”

The campaign is going up on TV today in upcoming primary states. Next week, they'll be up in Ohio and Texas. Wolfson anticipates that the campaigns will spend roughly the same amount on media over the next few races.

UPDATE 3:

Now this has nothing to do with her fundraising but is truly fabulous development...

per The Page, once again...

http://thepage.time.com/2008/02/08/wolfson-to-msnbc-drop-dead/

Wolfson to MSNBC: Drop Dead

Clinton spokesman called reporter David Schuster’s statements about Chelsea Clinton being “pimped out” by the campaign to call superdelegates “beyond disgusting,” can’t envision participating in any more debates on that network.

UPDATE 4:

OK per Taylor Marsh, info which she attributes to the Clinton campaign, Hillary has now raised over 9 million since Super Tuesday from over 90,000 donors.

http://www.taylormarsh.com/

This is truly an amazing development. We were not supposed to be able to do this remember?

To all Hillary supporters out there, thank you for all the donations, the hard work, and the support!

Keep the money pouring!

BREAKING!!! Maria Shriver Endorses Obama!

Yes! The same Maria Shriver who just stood by and watched as her husband rejected marriage equality TWICE in California.

Yes! The same Maria Shriver who stood by and did nothing as Arnold was fighting the unions in California.
